Its interface is very intuitive, it is easy to use, and I like that it has an authentication method for accessing computers.

What am I missing? No wonder AnyDesk is hiding the OG license options in select markets, they are trying to substantially reduce server load & cost(s) while increasing recurring fees (for Namespaces).Pros: I love it it allows me to remotely access and control other computers I have used it to collaborate, assist colleagues, and provide live customer support with excellent efficiency. Overall the Performance tier seems to be a nonstarter, at least to me. Unlimited sessions on 5 computers, via Power license, costs less per year ($1,107) than just 5 sessions (being forced from five computers), via Performance license ($1,194). The trend continues with "Power" option being constantly cheaper per active computer when compared to same number of active sessions with "Performance" license. Same goes for "Power" option which allows unlimited concurrent sessions from three computers for $629 / year, which is less than it now costs to get just three sessions under the "Performance" license: $716. What I'm sure is a real "most popular" option (lite) is nowhere to be seen, while I'm very interested in address book & custom clients, $129 / year starting price was a pretty good (if somewhat hidden) option.

If you want to support a two sessions (from two computers), it would double the yearly license cost, for $40 more per year, you can have three concurrent sessions either from one computer or from three separate computers (any combination in between) with the older professional tier. Paying for multiple users of the new performance license does not seem to allow multiple sessions from a single device (as per the terms of the license, I've not verified this). Multiple sessions are no longer an option, unless you get a custom enterprize quote. To match the older block of 20 devices, you'd need to pay for ~6 users (18 devices) which would cost you a cool $143 / year vs $129 one time fee it used to cost. Some other changes I see is that custom namespace is charged as a one time fee on the professional tier (in blocks of 20), whereas performance gives you the option to use the namespace (with three devices you are licensed for) ~$24 / year / user / session. I've tried to reach out to sales support and as far as I was told, the only difference is that the new Performance license is limited to being installed on three devices, whereas professional license can be installed on an unlimited number of machines (both are limited to one session by default). Their trial, though, is still based on a professional license so I feel like this is a bit of a bait and switch.

Anydesk seems to be testing out / directing new users to the "Performance" license as their only choice.
